What Will A Coach Do?

A coach will use assessment tools and other resources to help individuals better understand their talents, styles, and challenges. While coaches provide feedback and an objective perspective, clients are in charge.  Clients set the goals and set the pace to produce the results they desire.  The executive coach listens, analyzes, and reframes communications to promote the deep reflection and understanding necessary for the client to make substantive progress toward professional goals.

This process typically involves from six to twelve sessions over several months, with each session lasting about 90 minutes.  Coaching may include e-mail or telephone discussions between sessions, depending on the client's needs and preferences.

Executive coaching sessions may be conducted face-to-face, by telephone, or even using PC-based videoconferencing technology.

In selecting a coach, rapport or “fit” is critical. Most often, a conversation with a prospective coach will help you determine if you have trust and comfort with the relationship. Please contact us to discuss how we can help you clarify and achieve your career goals.
